Definition
A glass or metal instrument or dropper consisting of a tube with a narrow nozzle at one end and a narrow opening with handles on each side at the other end; sometimes inscribed with a measuring gauge along its length. Used to withdraw a small quantity of an alcoholic liquid from an (unbreached or untapped) cask in order taste test it.
