Definition
Tools, equipment, and supplies originally created for extracting materials in solid, liquid, or gaseous state from the natural environment. This class includes equipment used for underground and surface mines, quarries, oil and water wells, for prospecting, and for supplemental processing operations such as breaking, milling, washing, cleaning, or grading. It also includes tools used for ice harvesting and salt harvesting.
