Definition
A molding form generally made in wood in the shape of human foot and ranging as widely in size. It comes in a one-piece block or a two-pieces block with an adjustable perpendicular hand vise. It often has a detachable instep and a hole through the heel for the last hook. Used for making and repairing shoes. Also used for stretching the leather of a narrow sized shoe.
