- Definition
- A small tool generally made of plastic consisting of a rectangular blade, typically with upturned sides, a short shaft and a grasping handle. Sometimes comes with a matching pail in the same material. Used by children for moving liquids or solid material, such as earth or sand. Also often used to play on the beach.
