Definition
A neckcloth consisting of a wide piece of cloth that often incorporates a stiffening material or is made of leather and that may be decorated. It is fastened in the back of the neck with hooks and eyelets, laces, a buckle, a clip or buttons. Used as a fashion adornment to cover the neck area above a collar.
