Definition
A small container of metal, or sometimes china, of various shapes, designed to hold a ball of aromatic spices or herbs. May also have a chain. Typically suspended from the neck or the waist, or attached to the finger by a ring and used to carry perfume or to guard against infection and noxious smells.
