Definition
A portable warmer made from various materials and in various shapes and styles. The exterior is a pierced outer case, sometimes with a bail handle, and the interior is fitted with a smaller sheet iron box or container. Used to hold hot coals, hot bricks, or hot water in order to warm the feet while the person is sitting.
