Definition
A device consisting of a a hollow composite, metal or wooden pole, sometimes assembled in two or three sections, equipped with metal rings regularly spaced along its length and a handle at one end. Often used in conjunction with a fishing reel, fishing line, and a fishhook to capture fish.
