Definition
A round, ceramic, metal or plastic plate measuring anywhere from 5.5 to 6 inches with an inner concentric ring or depression in the middle. Used for holding a coffee cup or a teacup in order to collect any liquids that might spill as well as a coffee spoon or a teaspoon.
