Definition
An outdoor coat that is usually loose-fitting double-breasted, and made of close-knit, heavy fabric (such as melton or notched pilot cloth). It typically extends to the hip area and has a collar with lapels. Used for protection against the elements. It can also be worn as part of work, recreational, casual or attire.
