Definition
A tool consisting of a row of metal or wooden tines of varying lengths attached along a straight or fan-shaped crosspiece, and fastened at a right angle to a long wooden handle. Used to gather loose vegetation such as grass, hay or leaves and for smoothing the surface of the ground.
