Definition
A metal tool consisting of a springy rivet hinge and jaws that are straight from the pivot to just before the tip where they curve dramatically, each tip curved to form a semicircle. Used for picking up small pieces of odd-sized metals, such as pins and rivets, and for chisels and punches during heating, forging and forging.
